1. Moscow has earnestly requested the Afghan Government to demand from London a
revision of the Afghan-British treaty of 1921, in order to ` have a free hand if
England and the U3 eventually unite in' a Middle East de#'e&e treaty. The 1921
treaty is one that Afghanistan would quite willingly, ab`t'ogate by itself, in
order to negotiate on border questions with Pak Stan, as the successor state to
British India without being subject to Britishv'i''o.
2. The USSR has informed the Afghan Government that i,n case of the signature of a

ll demand the Afghan airfields,
3. The Afghan Government has also been asked tp eject the American technicians
and oil prospectors working in the area o Shin an on the Amur Dacia River.
4. As a reward for meeting these requests Kabul has been assured that India and the
USSR will support I ghanistan against the US and Pakistan.
