Reports from the Slovak garrison tam of Kosice indicate that the Czechoslovak 25X1 .4M bas now, for a short tine only, come into possession of.an atomic-field gun, The aunt is reported to be of medium caliber and smaller than the American atomic field pieces now actually in Germany. 2. Secret firing tests are reported to have taken place in the presence-of Soviet experts. The testa were made in narrow passes of the,Carpathian )i ntaiils, in the Soviet sub-Carpathian area. An artillery regiment, specially trained to handle this new weapon, is said to have been stationed in Kosice.
