A huge movement of "Chinese labor, reported to involve several hundred thousand Asiatics', is now in progress in the Zki,tdfr basin (Ukraine). The new laborers are mostly. Chinese and come largely ,from the former forces of Chiang Kai-shek. They are troops who deserted en masse to Mao Tse-tung, taking their'arms and baggage with them. 2. The Ukraine has many concentration camps, handipd~bv Oula,a. The main intern- ment centers are Zbi*01111ir, Kiev, Koroston,, $ovograd-Volynek; ,man. The region was chosen mainly because these camps are available tnere.
