station; a small rdhouse; a gasoline depot; a hangar 50 by 105 m; a concrete

4. There is s aonorett runway, not yet in use. It runs from north to south, 1,000 by
60 ~a~ The portionlof the runway already completed goes on to connect the airfield
wi~b the Timitoara+Arad road. There is an apron inl~aat ~~ the hangars.
Permanent night fling equipment has not yet been installed.
6. All the buildings Are in good condition and are kept in a state of repair.
7. At the field there is now a 3o~riet ground crew battalion, well equipped mechanically.
There are also a Romanian fighter squadron, and a Rue~anian training unit, equipped
with YAK planes.
