proceeding in the direction o! ~;ahleiz. ,Yc heavy guns have been seen leaving. No
new troop arrivals have been observed as yet.
3. OlbersdorP (Lausitz). The Volkspolizei unit stationed at Qlbersdorf has been
relieved by a Soviet unit with 11 armored reconnaissance oars. The Volkspolizei
unit has been transferred to Lobau.
4. Javenitz. ?n 7 Feb 54, Soviet trucks, light Suns and about 80 or 90 men detrained
at the Javenitz railway station. They arrived'in two trains from the direction of
Magdeburg, and proceeded towards the maneuver grounds in the Letzlinger Heath. Zt
appeared to be an infantry unit with about 30 trucks and a like number of infantry
guns.
5. Stendal. On 8 Feb 54, fourtean tanks and an ar;nored reconnaissance car were seen
