1. Production of automatic sighting cameras for aircraft is proceeding
according to schedule at the Zeiss Ikon works, Dresden. One or two
cameras are finished daily.
2. There is no change in the production of curve potentiometers.
The parts which the plant has been manufacturing for some time, and
which it was previously repor'.ed were believed to be for torpedoes,
are now known to be actuating parts for proximity fuses for antiaircraft
shells. For torpedoes only soft iron parts are manufactured. About
9,000 pieces of the proximity fuse mechanism were manufactured in
Jan 1954.
