1. The 'Oeorgi DIMitroff* works at !adeburg (formerly Buckau-Wolf) shipped out the
following eight engines in. April 1954, two of which had been n facturu'ed in Marcho
Three 80 hp. marine Diesel engines went to?the Rosalau-Zlbe shipyard; four
standard Diesels were delivered to Rostock, consigned to Poland, a 1500 hp.
Uiasel was for the Soviet Union. An $00 hp. type 205-D-engine which was
::tilt for'the DSU (D6utache Schiffabrts-und 1 sahlag Z41ntrale) was delivered
to Frankfurt an der , ier. Its further destination is unknown,
2. The material situation in the plant is bad. There are continuing shortages
of high grade steel and bearing material. Attempts to make bearings of a
duraluminua-like metal were failures. -
3. Eleven engines for the Seepolizel were to have been built in June and July
1954, but the order hasbeen returned because the material is not available, 25X1
and also because the 8ov?t Unior is calling for core marine Diesel engines.
