1. There are two Pre-Briefs scheduled for next week: Tuesday,
1330-1500; and Thursday, 1500-1630.
2. The following material is included here for your review:
a. Pre-Brief Material.

3. Miscellaneous Items:
a. A PRC on Pakistan has been scheduled for Thursday,

b. Wednesday's SCC on TNF has been restricted to Pri cipals ~/

c. Have heard that the SCC(I) is tentatively set for Monday,
21 July with the PRC(I) on NITs and Budget later that
week. (I'm sure there will be changes as they try to
pin down the Principals.)
d. Regarding the Annual Review (for the SCC(.I)): John McMahon
has all the material; rather than send it to you for
review, he wants to meet with you, go over the material,
and suggest that he give the briefing.
e. The paper on reactions to buildup of US forces in the
Indian Ocean and drawdown elsewhere was provided to the
NSC for distribution to Principals for Tuesday's SCC.
(We still have not received all State and DoD papers.)
