5X1 Approved 2' For ase 20041'T07Z8 1 800401 24000900315 15 April 1980 MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Central Intelligence FROM : PB/NSC Coordinator SUBJECT : Presidential Pre-Brief 0 1. The Pre-Brief is scheduled for tomorr sday, 16 April, beginning at 1100 in the DCI Conference Room. 2. There are two items on the agenda, material for which is attached. a. 1100-1130:1 In the black notebook you will find a further revision to this briefing. Changes per your notes from the weekend have been made, both to the text and to the graphics. made some additional changes to some of the graphics-- especially re =quality--after looking at your notes). Tomorrow will be the last time you will have to make any major changes--though there will be a final Pre-Brief next Monday after you come back from Florida. b. 1130-1200: You asked DDO and NFAC to check with COSs and Missions and assess foreign reactions. In the attached folder is OPA's synthesis and comment on COS inputs, by region. (The cables are also attached, grouped by region, should you want to refer to any.) The replies to State's outgoing request (along similar lines to ours) got tangled in the State commo system and were not available to our analysts; per OPA, however, they did not expect there would be much difference from the COS replies. 3. Will you want to take up any other subject during the remaining half hour (1200-1230) of the time/curreqtly scheduled for the Pre-Brief (e.g. Iran)?
