SUBJECT: Status Report on Miscellaneous Items
Following are some items to update you on vents which transpired
since you left for your trip this weekend.
1. Iran. (Related material in attache folder)
a. On Friday the DCI had yet ano her meeting with the NFAC
and DDO personnel to discuss Iran and US options. At
the left of the attached Ir n folder are some materials
discussed at that meeting.

c. The Iran Task force has completed its paper and it is
attached at th right side of the er. Beneath

d. Late Friday we learned that the next SCC on Iran has been
scheduled for 0900, Tuesday, 3 June. Since the Director
will not be in town, you will be attending this meeting;
however, the Director indicated that papers being done
would follow the previously agreed upon schedule, i.e.
they will be reviewed and discussed upon his return and
will be used at a subsequent SCC meeting.

e. Late Friday we received a memo from ZB which indicated
his approval of your 0 paper, which the Director had 25X1A
left with ZB two weeks ago. ZB asked that this memo
to him be converted into a memo for the President so that
a forthcoming SCC(I) can discuss it (There has been
no date as yet established for this meeting)_. I have
talked with and John McMahon regarding this
action and they w i l l nave the revised paper ready for
review by you and the DCI upon his return Tuesday n.
