After D/NFAC approval of the topic, the responsible officer will be asked to provide an outline for the DCI's approval. Preparation of the draft briefing starts after the outline is approved. A. Soviet Policy in Africa B. Soviet Performance During the Cosmos 954 Event C. Cuban Developments D. FRG-USSR Relations E. Chile (DDO) F. Five-Power Conference on Africa G. Illegal Immigration from Mexico and the Caribbean 5. The following briefing topics have been dropped from the list of active topics for the reasons indicated: A. The North Asian Military Balance. Deferred for later consideration. B. Refugee Resettlement in Thailand. No unique intelligence input. 6. The D/ORPA, D/OCR and NIOs NP, NESA and LA are requested to submit topics for use in late May or early June by COB Tuesday, 25 April.
