SUBJECT : Tentative Presidential Briefing Schedule (t1)
1. The Director briefed the President yesterday, 19 September,
on the following subjects:

Prospects
He did not have time to cover Vietnam completely. He has asked that it
be reworked to include more on the economic situation in the north for
possible use at the next briefing. (The item on After'the Tokyo Summit
was referred to the PDB for development as an Annex.) CS)
2. The next briefing will occur the week of 1 October (Wednesday,
3 October, is the expected date). The first Pre-Brief is tentatively set
for Wednesday, 26 September with the final Pre-Brief on Monday, 1 October.
Bruce Clarke will be accompanying the Director to the next briefing and
will brief on one of the topics. (C)
3. Material on the following potential topics will be provided to
DD/NFA and the DCI over the coming weekend for their review. From this
list the topics for the initial Pre-Brief will be selected.
