We are submitting herewith three copies of Informal Monthly
Progress Report No. 1 covering our work for the period indicated.
I am making the assumption that this number of copies will be adequate;
should this prove not to be the case, we will be happy to supply additional
copies as required.
You will note that this report covers the period from 10 January 1955
to 12 February 1955, and in consequence has been written with the benefit
of a certain amount of hindsight. An attempt has been made, however, to
present factual information existing throughout the reporting period only.
A report covering the period from 13 February 1955 to 13 March 1955 is
currently in process of preparation and will probably be forwarded to you
prior to the end of next week.
