1. PURPOSE:
For contractual arrangements during Yr 1961 in connection with develop-
mental and related flight test activities (mainly in-flight refueling
and single side-band communications) in support of the IDEALIST program.

pilot equipment and environment areas at Edwards Air Force Base until
succeeded by a Firewel employee assigned to Detachment G:

personnel on an on-call basis and flight test support of a develop-
ment nature, mainly in conjunction with in-flight refueli and single
side-band communications equipment installation tests:
through June 1961.
c. Lockheed: modification of two U-2C aircraft for in-flight refueling

installation in four U-2: aircraft:
