The statement of circumstances made on the attached Survey
report concerning the two (2) DeJur Stenoretts are to the best of my
knowledge and belief correct as stated. The units were at one time
actually used for their intended purpose. Tapes were exchanged con-
cerning technical details of equipment operation.

To the beet of my knowledge, two (2) DeJur tenorettse tape
recorders were acquired early in the program for the purpose of
exchanging tape recordings between field detachments and plant
engineering. I understood that one was sent to Detachment A. and
the other remained in the plant. I attended at least two tape sessions
in conference at 29 So. Pasadena Ave., the last on September 22, 1956,
sh tapes from Detachment A were played and return co
taped with a eJur recorder. To the best of my knowledge and belief,
the information in the survey report is correct.

Regarding the disposition of two (Z) Dejur Stenoretts, to
et of my knowledge and belief one unit was received at Detachment
A during my presence at that location in early 1956. The other unit
I personally used at the Z9 So. Pasadena Ave. location during the
latter part of 1956. 1 have no recollection of using or seeing either
of these units since that time.
