Dear George:
The following is a summary of the discrepancies I find
in Amendments No. 8 and No. 9, as forwarded to us. We have
signed and returned both, but the discrepancies should probably
be corrected in a future amendment.
AMENDMENT NO. 8
Appendix 1, Section Ala should read: "nineteen
electronic systems less antennas" since antennas have
been called out separately as items b, and c.
Appendix 1, Section AZ, cost estimate covered by
CMCC Doc. No. 151. 602 and enclosure should be
$286, 028.
Cost estimate covered by CMCC Doc. No. 151X5. 21
should be subtracted from Section A3, rather than A2, since
the deletion of these Ampex units and test tapes was from
equipment requirement Number 2.
Section Gl, cost estimate covered by CMCC Doc. No.
151. 705 and enclosure should be $10, 766. Cost of the copies
of System One instruction manual should be included in this
proposal.

Section Blc, cost estimate covered by CMCC Doc.
No. 1131X5. 29 should be $55, 094.
Section Bld, cost estimate covered by CMCC Doc.

Section H, 2 and 3, wording, while clear to us,
may leave some doubt as to what changes, if any, should
be made in Section H, 2 and 3, of Amendment No. 8. 1
assume no change should be made, and that you are only
adding the estimated cost.
The draft of Amendment No. 8, which you left with us
some time back, is enclosed herewith.

proved format of the contract as represented by these two amend-
ments.
