We are forwarding herewith lists, in quadruplicate, of ASTIA
documents that we should like to secure. It would be particularly useful
to us if the Stanford University report on Low-Frequency Navigation
Systems, and the Harvard University report on Low and Very Low Radio
Frequency Sky-Wave Field Intensity could be secured at a very early date.
We have not yet received any of the ASTIA documents which were
requested on ASTIA order forms sent to you on 21 June 1955, and it would
be most helpful to us if you could do everything in your power to speed up
the procurement of this material for us. Many of the reports requested
contain information on the development of techniques which could prove
of considerable importance in the development of the systems on which we
are working currently.
