1. This memorandum contains a remnatendation submitted for
concurrence of the undersigned. Such reccemamdation is centained
in Paragraph 5.
2. Contract No. covers the procurement of two (2) each
Radar Repeater jammers for installation in the U-2 Aircraft. These
units arsproduction models Of the prototype procured under Contract
No,El.. The contract is beina issued on a Fixed Pries Redeter-
minab er basisata target price of with a Ceiling Price of
MIIIMM Delivery of the first unit is scheduled in 90 days and
the second 30 days thereafter. This work Is approved under Program25X1Ala
Approvals CRAL-027 and CUL-0657.

3. Contract No. obligated an amount 41
chargeable to Pima Year 1559 CRALE Funds. (Note: This mbmorandum
supersedes and cancels Memo dated 21 April 1959 (AL-06+l). By
concurrence?to this memorandum the Comptroller signifies that sufficient
funds are available and that funds have been obligated as prorided
above.
4. Certification of funds for this contract will be handled
under the procedure approved by the Director of Central intelligence
on 15 /*comber 3.956 which, in effect, results in all 8(b) expenses
involving issuance Of Treasury Cheolte being accumulated Ina
separate accouat within the Finance Division. The amounts in this
account will be periodically scheduled for certification of the vouchers
by the Director. This procedure eliminates the necessity for a
separate certification of authority under Section 8(b) of Public
Law 110, 81st Congress, (formerly10(b) see 85-507 atd4 7/7/58) for
each contract.
