SUBJECT: Message Routing of Mission Operational
Messages
1. In order to assure rapid and secure handling of
operational traffic of missions in progress, the following
procedure is requested:
a. All OXCART/IDEALIST inbound traffic will
include REALM/RECITAL as a part of the message
slug identifier for mission under way.
b. The soft copy of the message will be handed
to the duty controller in the Control Center, Operations
Division, OSA, at the earliest opportunity.
c. Seven hard copies will be produced and
delivered by the Signal Center to the ADMIN Section,
Operations Division, OSA, for distribution as required.
If distribution to staff agencies other than Operations
is required, the ADMIN Section will request additional
copies and initiate such distribution.
2. Request you initiate necessary actions to insure
that all messages pertaining to an actual operational mission
under way contain the REALM/RECITAL message slug.
