Approved For Release 2001/03/04: CIA-RDP81 B00961 R0001 00120008-5 0i80-62 29 June i'96 25X1A MMRA1DUM FOR : Air Support Branch AT7 TION M26 ACT t{eiio Demonstration at Fort Bragg Memo from ASST CH/I "D to C/AFB, Dated 19 June 1962; Subject: "Requirement for Field Demonstration and Briefing on elio-Courier Aircraft" (I PD 3874_62) Memo from AC/IPT) to C/ASB, Dated 21 June 1962; Same Subject 25X1A 25X1A 1. mentioned in Reference B, finally got in touch with me 26 June to firm up on our arrival at Fort Bragg with the Hello. The way things now stand, you should plan to have the aircraft and its team arrive at Fort Bragg Sunday afternoon, 8 July. You should instruct the crew to report to Colonel Vanderpool at Fort Bragg on extension 63168. He is said to be the officer in charge of site tests which apparently is a sub-Troup of the Flight Test Committee of the Hovze Board. 2. said that the way things are working out, they would probably hold the formal briefing and aircraft demonstration on 9 July, weather permitting so that General Howze might see the plane diaattend d the briefing personally. The balance of the three days, 9, would be spent in informal discussions with members of the 'light Test Com- mittee at the working level. Please let me know your plans for action on this matter.
