REFERENCE USA 2548-63, dated 14 May 1963, Same
subject
1. Consideration has been given to your recent
telephone survey of lines 4526 and Red 9473.
2. During the period covered by this survey, i.e.,
3 through 7 June, two of the officers utilizing these
lines were out of the office on TDY. At this time, these
lines serve five personnel and it is shortly expected
that three additional personnel will be assigned to this
office. With eight personnel assigned, three extensions
would appear to be the minimum requirement.
3. In view of the above, it is requested that your
office reconsider the requirement for an additional
telephone extension on these instruments.
4. Your expeditious handling of this request will
be appreciated.
