Roy Werner, Senate Foreign Relations Comrrmmittee staff, on Vietnam and
Vietnam's forei n olic T. The briefing lasted for about an hour and both
Mr. Werner and seemed to be satisfied with the session.

indicated that he would also need a ?learance inasmuch as he 25X1
is working on SALT verification and developing a matrix for{ Senat:o.r
John Glenn (D. Ohio).
?_.l. BRIEFING Accompanied John McMahon,
DDO, and I)D0, to the preliminary briefing of the
house Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on the 7 June
Presidential Finding. The session was a short one and will be followed up
by another hearing by the Committee's Subcommittee on Oversight on
Monday, 19 June (See Memorandum for the Record) which includes a
resume of both sessiGons.
