Attached is a copy of the transcript of a meeting in Honolulu
between Lt. Col. A.E. Shinkle, USAF (Ret.) and the Subcommittee on
Asian and Pacific Affairs. I am seeking your evaluation at the
suggestion of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
I would appreciate any comments you may be prepared to make
about Lt. Col. Shinkle's report, as soon as possible. As you can
see from the attached correspondence, much time has already elapsed,
and-we would like to draw our part in this matter to a close.
