The links between the Federal Government and its
local counterparts stand out sharply in my small state,, and
a. local public television station wants to bring those links
into even sharper focus. I hope you will find time to join
with me in the station's efforts.
Jack Barry, newsman for Vermont Educational Television,
approached me with the idea of producing a series of
30-minute programs with a number of high-level officials in
the Carter Administration. During the show, you and I would
discuss the interplay between Congress, the Executive Branch
and their local impact while Barry moderates.
Vermont ETV has a national reputation and Barry has
put together a number of superior news forums. He has
assured me the planned half-hour programs will be offered
nationally.
