During the briefing of Representative Bill Alexander
(D., Ark.) today he mentioned the book entitled Detente and
Defense by Robert J. Pranger, a professor' at Georgetown
University.? I-Ie asked if anybody in the Agency had read the
book and if it would be possible to discuss the positions
taken in the book with a knowledgeable person. Would you
please check around tq see if such a nerson exists.
