SUBJECT: Handling of Congressional Travelers
1. In recent months, we"?have had three instances where
Congressional staff people have traveled overseas, made notes
and asked that the notes be pouched back by the Agency. In
each case the staffer was led to believe his notes would be
back in a very short time, and became upset when they did not
arrive for weeks.
2. I would like to request that some sort of alert be
sent to the stations overseas asking that they advise congressional
staffers that it takes from one to two wee o pouch things back.
Perhaps then they will be a little more/ atie t.
