for File on Herself
1. Attached is a copy of our interim response to Mrs . Chisholm
for information on herself within the Agency, In accordance with customary
Office of Legislative Counsel practice, a evorking folder was established
to cover contacts with Representative Chisholm during her term of office.
If your inquiry to other Agency components surfaces no information on
Mrs . Chisholm, we suggest that the final reply to hear include the
following statement:
"You may be interested to know, however, that our Office of
Legislative Counsel maintains working folders to record its
liaison contacts with 1/Iembers of Congress. In accordance
with this practice, a folder was established to cover your
term of office and now contains a brief biographic sketch,
a few netivspaper clippings, your letter of 10 April 1973 to
then Director James R. Schlesinger seeking inputs for a
catalog you were preparing on job positions involving law
enforcement activities and the Agency's response to you
dated 16 April 1973; a letter from the Agency thanking you
