SUBJECT: Glossary of Intelligence Terms and Definitions
The IC Staff has just published its "Glossary of Intelligence Terms
and Definitions," on which it had been working since last fall. I have
been following preparation of this document because we have been involved
in the definitions contained in the intelligence charter legislation.
Although we are not bound by the definitions in this paper, particularly
insofar as views on the charter legislation is concerned, the paper is
of interest because it is a widely disseminated and extensively
coordinated presentation of Intelligence Community thinking as to
certain key intelligence terms.
