SUBJECT: Fraser Committee Request for Declassification
of State Department Documents Which Contain
Agency Material
1. The Fraser Committee has requested that the
State Department declassify two documents containing
Agency provided information and so informed the Agency
in a 30 January 1978 memorandum. As a result,
Mr. Blaine Porter, Korea Desk, State Department., visited
the Agency on 6 February 1978 to discuss the caveats
surrounding the Agency material.,
2. Mr. Porter and the undersigned reviewed the
documents in question, a 2 June 1971 memorandum from
U. Alexis Johnson to Attorney General Mitchell and a
24 August 1966 airgram, No. A-69, enclosure two (2).
This material was previously reviewed for declassification
following a 6 October 1977 Agency - Fraser Committee
Representative meeting. Certain deletions were made
from the Agency material in the aforementioned docu-
ments. The resulting agreed upon version of these docu-
ments will be declassified for the Fraser Committee by
State Department.

SUBJECT:
Fraser Committee Request for Declassification
of State Department Documents Which Contain
Agency Material
1. The Fraser Committee has requested that the
State Department declassify two documents containing
Agency provided information and so informed the Agency
in a 30 January 1978 memorandum. As a result,
