IAISON Jim Bush, on the staff of the 25X1 House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, called to ask if we could supply him with examples of things the Agency has made public such as press releases on current events, publications of intelligence products, etc. I said I would look into it. 22. IAISON Received a call fro~n Jaynie 25x1 Victor, in the office of Representative William C. Wampler (R., Va. ), on behalf of a constituent, requesting a copy of the "Report to the President by the Commission on CIA Activities in the United States, " by Nelson A. Rockefeller, Chairman, in July 1975. After checking, I called Ms. Victor back and advised her that the constituent could obtain a copy by writing to the Superintendent of Documents, U. S. Government Printing Office, Washington, D. C. 20402. She thanked me for the information. 23. IAISON Received a call from Jay Killeen, on the staff of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Thomas P. O'Neill (D., Mass.), requesting two publications: "World Steel Market Continued Trouble Ahead" and "World Shipbuilding: Facing up to Overcapacity. " These were sent to him via courier and he was so advised. Once acquired, I will pass the document on to Mike Flannigan for eventual passage to Diane LaVoy, of the Committee staff. 26. LIAISON Dick Giza, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence staff, called asking for the CIA publication that wa the 20 March 1978 Jack Anderson column. After checking wit NFAC/CSS, I told Dick that there was no such publication (on U. S. oil usage statistics and, furthermore, the figures cited in Anderson's column are inaccurate). I added that, in any event, any figures that CIA might publish on U. S. oil usage or reserves are based on Department of Energy statistics rather than our own knowledge or analysis.
