of the House Permanent Select committee on Intelligence, about statement
for 17 March DCI appearance. Bush said they would accept anything we
wished to present, at any time. He said they were not requiring a statement
to be furnished in light of the nature of the hearing, but he advised that if
we had one, we should get it to him. I made no commitment, and passed.

Levine, on the staff of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, orally
discussed questions on the 1979 CIA Program which the Senate Select

10. LIAISON Pam Smith, CRS/Library
of Congress, called asking if it was alright to send a copy of our
publication entitled "World Steel Market Continued Trouble Ahead" to
a requestor. She said the copy she has is marked "For Official Use .
Only. " I told her I was quite certain the publication no longer contained
that caveat and after checking with NFAC/CSS, office,
I told Ms. Smith that indeed the caveat had been removed and I said I
would send her another copy. She thanked me for this information.
11. LIAISON Received a call from
Chris, Senate Armed Services Committee staff, asking if Frances B.
Frazier, also of the Committee staff, had been put on the list to sign
for the NID. After checking with I called Chris and told her
that I would notify the proper office to place Ms. Frazier's name on
the list. NFAC/CSS, office has been alerted.
