In connection with its investigation into the circum-
stances surrounding the assassination of President Kennedy, I
am writing to request that the CIA provide the Committee with
access to the following information:
1) A list of documents in the possession of the CIA con-
cerning Lee Harvey Oswald (Lee Henry Oswald, Harvey
Lee Oswald) prior to the opening of a 201 file on
him, as well as the office in which each of those
documents was located prior to the opening of the
file.
2) A statement, including any written regulations, which
establishes the criteria utilized by the CIA in classi-
fying its relationships with individuals with whom it
has had contact; i. e., whether such an individual
would be classified as a source, an asset, an inde-
pendent, a witting collaborator, an unwitting col-
laborator, etc.
3)
4) The three 201 files immediately preceeding Lee Har-
vey Oswald's file as well as the three 201 files
immediately following it.
