Edward Russell, in the office of Representative James Jeffords
(R., Vt.), who requested a professional employment application
for a constituent. I told him one would be sent to him.
OLC Registry was advised.
LIAISON Sent a copy of two
Agency publications; "The Soviet Economy in 1976-7.7 and
Outlook for 1978," "Soviet Economic Problems and Prospects,"
and "CIA Publications Released to the Public Through Library
of Congress DOCEX," to Harold Luks, of Senator Abraham Ribicoff's
(D., Conn.) office, per his request. Mr. Luks had also asked
for unclassified information on technology transfer, which
we were unable to locate per CSS/NFAC.

who asked if the Agency was still using U.S. foundations
for funding of any other purposes connected with covert
