Enclosed is a copy of this Subcommittee's final report on its Investi-
gation of Korean-American Relations, together with the two-volume appendix of
supporting documents. While the report was published on October 31st, the
appendix was not available until now due to a backlog at the Government Print-
ing Office.
Several sections of the report should be of particular interest to the
Agency, and two contain recommendations for action by the CIA or the DCI:
(1)
Executive Branch Awareness of Questionable Korean
Activities, pp. 114-157, with recommendations on
p. 157; and
(2) Food for Peace Program, pp. 207-274, with recom-
mendations on p. 214.
The Subcommittee respectfully requests that you consider our recommen-
dations and hopes you will take action to put them into effect.
