Malstrom, in the office of the Secretary of the Senate, and James W. Fransen, Assistant Counsel., Office of the Senate Legislative Counsel, concerning Section 111 of Public Law 95-94. Fransen consulted Senate Legislative Counsel Harry B. Littell on several aspects of this legislation. (See OLC: 78-2939. ) 2. (Internal Use Only - GMC) LIAISON Took a call from Sue Slotnick, on the staff of the House International. Relations Sub- committee on International Organizations, who inquired about procedures being used to assemble documents that the Subcommittee had requested from the John F . Kennedy Library. I informed Ms. Slotnick a ou my conversations with the Library's Chief Archivist, and told her that the Library would be sending those documents on her list that-. originated with the Agency to me. I made certain that Ms. Slotnick understood that it had not yet been determined whether all. of this material, which included NIE's, could in fact be made available to the Subcommittee. She said that she understood and was appreciative of our efforts to expedite the Subcommittee's request. 3. (Unclassified - JMD) LIAISON Jennifer Bakey, in the office of Senator Richard Lugar (R., Ind.), called and said that David Shaw, Senator Lugar's designee on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, would like Mr. Fred. Hitz to stop by and pick him up and he will accompan, Mr. IIitz"to his meeting with Senator Lugar. I told Ms. Bakey this would not be a problem. 4. (Unclassified - JMD) LIAISON Received a call from Marilyn Grimm,in the office of Seipator Carl Curtis R. Neb.), who said the Senator had a constituenti in, the Dist wouldlike to apply for the CT Program. After TAT I arranged an appointment for F or 16 August 1978 at 9:00 a.m. Ms. Gri iAAT was most appreciative. 5. (Unclassified - JMD) LIAISON Received a call from Lew Borman, Assistant to Senator Birch Bayh (I)., Ind.), who said a constituent is interested in finding out what types of position Agency.
