24. IBRIEFING Accompanied Diane LaVoy,
House Permanent be ec ornmx ee on Intelligence staff, to the office of
Eloise Page, Chief, PCS. The briefing took place in 2D48 and lasted
from 3:10 to 4:20 p.m. Ms. Page explained the activities of the Critical
Collection Problems Committee over the past 15 years and the role of
CCPC and Intelligence and Warning procedures. The briefing went well,
was highly informative and there are no outstanding questions.
25. LIAISON Received a call from Mrs.
Hoffmann, in the office of Representative Hamilton Fish, Jr. (R., N. Y. ),
wanting to know what the Agency's policy is regarding tours of the Agency
[in order to answer a constituent's (highschool student) inquiry]. I told
Mrs. Hoffman that we have no policy regarding public tours or visits of
CIA's facilities, however, we would be happy to send to the Congressman
or mail directly to the student an information kit on the CIA (which was done
this date).
