In connection with its investigation into the circum-
stances surrounding the death of President Kennedy, the Select
Committee on Assassinations requests access to the 1962 Report
by Lyman Kirkpatrick, Jr. The report is described in a memo-
randum to the Committee from the Library of Congress dated
3/31/78.
In that memo, it is stated that the report was prepared
in 1962 by Lyman Kirkpatrick, Jr. for CIA Director Allen
Dulles, concerning the organization of the intelligence com-
munity and the work of the CIA.
The Library of Congress indicated that this report was
available from your Agency.
