1. The House Select Committee on Assassinations has
requested extended access for its researchers to 'ng the room which has been established for their use by 25X1
in the Headquarters building. Specifically, they wish to
work in this facility from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday
through Thursday of each week and request that this
accommodation begin as of this Wednesday and Thursday,
3 and 4 May 1978.
2. Please provide for Security Escort assistance.
Our current arrangements are to assemble the classified
material for HSCA researchers and store it in a safe 0
provided by your office located in the IIfacility, 25X1
Room 2D0117 Headquarters. Your escort officers normally.have
the combination to this safe. For these extended hours, all
material should be stored in that safe by your officer and
secured at 7:30 p.m.
3. Thank you for your assistance. I shall advise
you of any daily changes in scheduling as they become known
to me.
