It has been quite some time now since we discussed
the matter of access to certain intelligence materials
which we need to perform our work at the Department of
Defense. We are now involved in preparing several re-
ports for the Appropriations and Armed Services Committees
where this information would be important.
I believe that you were going to get in touch with
Harold Brown. I will be glad to join you or talk
separately with Harold about the matter. The responsi-
bility for supplying us with needed information to per-
form our work, of course, rests with him.
I thought the general approach which we discussed
at lunch would be workable and I hope that we can
pursue that.
