via courier to Leslie Lo lin, on the staff of the House Science
and Technology Subcommittee on Domestic and International
Scientific Planning, Analysis and Cooperation, the publication
entitled "Giant Oil Fields and World Oil Resources." This request
was made on behalf of Chairman James H. Scheuer (D., N.Y.).
2. 1 I LIAISON Beverley Lumpkin and Fred Rayano,

International Organizations, met with DDO/EA Division, 25)
and C/PCS/PGL/LB, and myse o -urther sanitize
the Committee's draft report Several 25)
clarified for the meeting between Chairman Donald M. Fraser (D., Minn.)
and Mr. Carlucci, DDCI, tomorrow. (See Memorandum For 25),
the Record.)
3. LIAISON Dick Barnes, on the staff of the
House Government Operations Subcommittee on Government Information
and Individual Rights, was shown a copy of 25
and given a brier overture or e TypU
of assistance that the Agency provides. This was prompted by a
request esentative Paul N. McCloskey (R., Ca.) in reaction
to the case. Barnes will pass this information on to
Mr. Mculu-srey and will get back to us if Mr. McCloskey wants
anything further. Barnes doubted that Mr. McCloskey would want
to pursue this at anytime in the near future. I left with Barnes
a copy of the Guide to Law of Central Intelligence Agency volumes
I and II for Subcommittee use.
