Staff Director, House Science and Technology Subcommittee on
Space Science and Applications; John Steward, Staff Director,
Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Subcommittee
on Science, Technology and Space; Gary Hymel, in the office of
the Speaker; John Ford, Staff Director, House Armed Services
Committee; and Dr. Charles S. Leonard, Library of Congress__and
alerted them to the President's announcement to declassify
"fact of" photographic satellite reconnaissance.

OWI, met with Dr. Charles Sheldon, Library of Congress, an
showed him several noncompartmented classified intelligence
reports on Soviet space activities. Dr. Sheldon felt such
reporting would satisfy his Congressional requirements,
however, he posed several specific_ topics of interest not covered
in the reports. felt certain that they would be and

diplomats who may be or have been involved in alleged murders
