Sulc indicated that he and Thomas Smeeton, Minority Consultant for the Suhcommittee, would want to meet personally with Agency representatives on the matter. A meeting was held the same day. (See Memorandum for the Record.) 2. LIAISON Called Fred Arnold, on the staff of the House Select Committee on Population, to pass on infor- mation from NFAC concerning his question regarding a radio broadcast alleging that Mexicans were being trained in insurgency tactics by the Soviet Union. 3? , DDO, who has been handling th? called to inform us that he received a call from Carl Duckett, former DDS&T, informing that he will be appearing before Senator John Glenn's (D. , Ohio) Senate Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on Energy, Nuclear Proliferation and Federal Services to discuss nuclear proliferation sometime during the later part of next week. John McMahon, DDO, requested eview with Duckett certain sensitive areas, includin I F aid he has talked to Duckett before concerning the recent congressiona appearance and does not conteg any problems.
