SUBJECT; Briefing of the House Permanent Select Committee
on Intelligence on the 7 June 1978 Presidential
Finding
1, On 14 June 1978 the House Permanent Select Committee,
on Intel ~.gence was informed of the details contained in the
7 June 1978 Presidential Finding, A follow-up and more
detailed briefing was scheduled and held on 19 June 1978 of
the HPSCI Subcommittee on Oversight. This memorandum will be
limited to coverage of the 19 June briefing of the Committee
and will include questions and concerns raised by the Committee
on various aspects of the Finding.
2. Q The briefing was held in Room H-405, The Capitol.
Security was handled by the HPSCI staff and a transcript
was taken. The briefing lasted from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
and from 2:00 p.m, until 3:15 p.m.
