Enclosed are several clarifications to the responses contained in
my letter of 9 November 1978 which you requested during our conversation
on 14 November. Also enclosed are responses to additional questions
that arose during the course of the briefings you received on certain
foreign intelligence services.
I believe that the enclosed responses and those contained in my
9 November letter answer all of the questions posed in writing by
Senator McGovern or yourself, or which arose either during the
briefings or in our talk on 14 November. Please let me know if you,
