Cohen (R., Maine). 2. (Unclassified - MG) CONSTITUENT Received a call from Toby Seggerman, in the office of Representative Christopher J. Dodd (D., Conn.), who has a request from a constituent for information on the Agency's policy regarding relations with the academic community. I told him I would check and let him know if we had any information to give out. 3. (Unclassified - MG) CONSTITUENT Received a call from Jan Ross, in the Hattiesburg office of Representative Trent Lott (R., Miss.), who requested some general information about the Agency for a constituent. I told her I would forward some material to her. 4. (Unclassified - MG) LIAISON Received a call from Carol Wiiks, on the staff of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, who said that Faga. also of the Committee staff, would like a copy of[II I told her I would cheScAT on it an call her back. 5. (Unclassified - RJK) LIAISON Jim Lilley, NIO/China/ NFAC, took part in discussions held by the Pacific Study Group of the Senate Armed Services Committee. The topic of discussion was Taiwan and People's Republic of China issues. Representatives from State and DOD also took part. Senators Sam Nunn (D., Ga.) and Harry Byrd (I., Va.) were present for all or part of the discussions. 6. (Unclassified - DFM) LIAISON Received a call from Earl Eiselinower, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff, who asked whether new Committee Minority Counsel Dennis Sharon could receive security briefings next week. I said we would do our best to complete the paperwork in time and I ould lot -A him know. Eisenhower also asked for a meeting with ST T SA/DCI/CI, regarding counterintelligence.
