4. (Unclassified - MG) LIAISON Received a call from Mrs. Ili.u)son,
in the Albuquerque district office of Senator Harrison 11. Schmitt (R. , N. Mex. ),
who requested the status of a letter from the Senator regarding a constituent,
Oliver W. Schneiditz. I told her that we had been in touch with the Senator's
Washington office on this matter, and that we hope. to have a response by the
end of the week.
5. (Unclassified - MG) LIAISON Received a call from James R.
Locher, Senate Armed Services Committee staff, who asked for the following:

7. (Internal Use Only -- ELS) LIAISON Jim Bush, House Permanent
Select Committee on Intelligence staff, called to say that as a result of the
briefing on covert action by John McMahon, DDO, Chairman Bill D. Burlison
(D. , Mo. ), Subcommittee on Program and Budget Authorization, and
Representative Norman Y. Mi.neta (D. , Calif. ), had some questions relating
the new Pinding to the 1979 budget. Bush could not satisfy them and wanted
an opportunity to come out and talk to us. I agreed - i i L at 25X1
