Legislative Affairs, called to say that a paper on the value
of HUMINT, requested by House Permmanent Select Committee on-
Intelligence staffer Jim Bush, has been completed. The
paper is rather lengthy, about 25 pages, and contains examples
of how HUMINT has aided NSA's mission. Examples are taken
from both CIA and DIA reporting, and prior to passing to
the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, NSA's
HUMINT specialist is handcarr ing the report to 25X1
CIA for approval (presumably to PCS 25X1
