JOURNAL
OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE COUNSEL
Wednesday 8 November 1978
2. I I LIAISON Received a call from
Mrs. Coker, in the o ice o Representative Robert Lagomarsino
(R., Calif.),, requesting a copy of the National Basic Intelligence
Factbook, which was forwarded to her.
3. LIAISON Received a call from
Duane Andrews, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
staff, who asked that we send a cable to Jim Bush, also of the
V Committee staff, informing him of the re-election of Re resentatives
Edward P. Boland (D., Mass.), Bill D. Burlison (D., Mo.),
J. Kenneth Robinson (R., Va.), and Senator William D. Hathaway
(D., Maine).
4. 1 I LIAISON Called Duane Andrews, House
Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence staff, to ask if
Representative Bill D. Burlison (D., Mo.) could meet with the
Director on either 21 or 27 November for lunch and for briefings on
his upcoming trip. After checking with the Congressman's office,
Andrews said the 21st was out and the 27th was available, but
that Mr. Burlison would be leaving town that day and would prefer
to have the day open for cleaning up office matters. Andrews said
they would prefer 24 November, but would leave it to the Director
as to whether he needed to see Mr. Burlison or not. I asked
OLC, to got a reading from Fred Hitz.
