1. EMPLOYMENT Received a call from .
someone in the office of Representative Jonathan B. Bingham (D., N. Y.),
who asked who she could forward a letter to at the Agency concerning
possible employment for a constituent who is presently in Africa. I
told her to forward the letter to Acting Legislative Counsel, 25X1
and provided the address.
2? EMPLOYMENT Received a call from
Emma Lilly, in the office of Representative Bill Hefner (D., N. Car.),
who requested that we send an employment package (professional) to
her attention for a constituent. OLC Registry was advised.
3. EMPLOYMENT Received a call from
Dennis Gorski.. in the office of Representative William Hughes (D., N.J.),
asking us to forward an employment package (professional) to his
attention for a constituent. OLC Registry was advised.
4? I I LIAISON Diane LaVoy, House Permanent
Select Committee on Intelligence staff, called to tell me that she had done
some further research on the SNIE she had requested on the previous day
and had largely come to the conclusion that if the SNIE did not bear
directly on the "Pueblo, " she would not be interested in receiving it.
I passed this news on to NFAC/CSS.
