Dorothy Fosdick, on the staff of the Permanent Subcommittee on
Investigations, Senate Governmental Affairs Committee, who requested

12. (Internal Use Only - JMD) LIAISON Called Marsha Matts,
House Appropriations Committee staff, and asked that she advise
Mr. Charles Snodgrass, of the Committee staff, that we were checking
to find out what happened to the cassette which Representative Joseph
Addabbo (D., N. Y.) gave to I told her we were hoping
it would be in the pouch tomorrow, but if it isn't, we will send a cable
and find out where it is. I told her we would let them know as soon as
possible.
13. (Unclassified - JMD) BRIEFINGS Received a call from
Jane McMullan, Senate Appropriations Committee staff, who said the
Committee would like to have the Director appear on two consecutive
days on the NFIP posture and the CIA posture. She gave me the time
periods of 1 to 23 March or 3 to 14 April for us to pick the two days.
I told her I would check with the Director's office and get back to her.
14. (Unclassified - LLM) LIAISON Called Tom Latimer,
Staff Director, House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, to
V see if he had any problem with the position we planned to take regarding
the letter to the Director from Chairman John D. Dingell (D., Mich. ),
House Interstate and Foreign Commerce Subcommittee on Energy and
Power, and he had none.
